Baby Wipes Solution

Baby Wipes Solution

1/4 cup oil (Melted Coconut Oil, Grapeseed Oil, Sunflower Oil, Olive Oil, etc.)
1/4 cup baby wash (I use the liquid soap recipe below)
4 cups distilled water
You could add a couple drops of lavender and/or tea tree essential oil if you wanted. I don't.

I am reusing a Huggies wipes container
I use cut up clothing for washable/reusable wipes
I keep an ice cream bucket with a little soapy water to put dirty wipes in so they don't stain and I wash them daily

Using a gallon jug to make some ahead:
3/4 cup oil
3/4 cup soap
12 cups water

Just give it a shake before you pour it into your wipes container

Note:

After I originally posted this we started using cloth diapers with the snap covers so our ice cream bucket grew to a larger covered bucket. I am adding this because I noted that we used cut up rags for reusable wipes. We have also used (larger) rags for the diapers (the cloths that go inside the snap covers). It works and it's way cheaper than buying extra diapers or liners! We wash the bucket of diapers every other day. It's NOT a pleasant job but has saved us tons of money!

I make the following recipe for use in my wipes solution.

1 bar grated soap
12 cups hot water (boiled or distilled)

grate bar of soap
put in covered container with 12 cups hot water
let set 24 hrs
Store in gallon jug
